I now have conclusive proof that David got in my brain at least once.
Okay, this is a slightly confusing train of events, so here goes. iTunes puts up a single from an indie rock band (well, okay, usually an indie rock band) for free download. Often, the single is from a video game or movie or something (of course, I don't usually find out until I look up the lyrics...)
Anyways. A while ago, the free single was the very, very catchy song "On My Way" by the band Billy Boy on Poison, whom I'd never heard of. I listened to the song once and thought it was catchy, put it on my iPod, then listened to it again and thought, "Wow, this song makes me think...Lost Boys."
Flash-forward to today, when, while surfing the 'net, I come across (completely by accident) an entertainment news site that tells me that Kiefer Sutherland has endorsed Billy Boy on Poison and was featured in the beginning of the video for "On My Way". Accompanying the article was a lovely picture of Kiefer as David.
This really, truly, wouldn't be that disconcerting, except for the fact that I seem to do this sort of thing all the time.
It's weird and I don't like it.

In other news, does anyone else read the words "Ninja Assassin" and hear the song "Legal Assassin" from "Repo: The Genetic Opera" playing in their head, only with the word "Ninja" substituted for "Legal"? I know I do.
